In the Netflix series, Sex Education, teenagers Otis and Maeve grow romantically close when they form an advice business. But are these two endgames?
Sex Education why Maeve and Otis should be together
Should be together: They are great partners
Business brings the pair together. Maeve reorganises Otis’ talent for dispensing useful relationships and sex-life advice. She sees the potential for money to be made with this skill and so their partnership forms.
Should not be together: Otis and Ola
As with most of the TV romances, other people eventually emerged to threaten the happiness Otis and Maeve could have with each other. After Otis finally admits to himself that Maeve would never like him, he then meets Ola, a very friendly girl whom he quickly falls for.
Should be together: support system
Though the pair may seem to be totally different people when they first meet, they are both outcasts in their own school. Maeve comes from a poor background and is looked down upon as being trashy. In the other hand, Otis is seen by his peers as an awkward nerd who doesn’t fit in with the popular crowd.
Should not be together: Maeve and Jackson
Before even meeting Otis, Maeve was romantically involved with the school’s star athlete, Jackson. Once again, Jackson was presented as an obstacle in the path of Maeve and Otis coming together. But it is hard to deny that Maeve and Jackson had made a great couple.
Should be together: they improve each other
Neither Otis nor Maeve are the perfect people, but they do help each other move in the right direction. Along with being kind and generous, they are also not afraid to call each other out for their mistakes and then show the other the error of their ways.
Well this is it guys.
