Sex Education has returned for a victorious second season on Netflix, and viewers who are attracted by strange style, famous humor, and honest portrayals of teenage sexuality will no doubt change it in eight new episodes.
And because the second season ends with some unresolved issues, fans will be desperate to find out when to expect another trip to Moordale High School.
Here’s all we know about season 3 sex education …
(Warning: spoilers for season 1 and season 2)
Has Sex Education been renewed for a third season?
Yes, Netflix announced on February 10, 2020, that sex education would return. A new episode will be introduced later this year.
The first season of Sex Education is in the top 10 of the Netflix series most broadcast in 2019, and because there are still questions left unanswered, it is not surprising that the event will be updated.
If we follow the same pattern as seasons one and two, we might be able to expect the third performance in January 2021.
The show’s creator, Lori Nun, told The Hollywood Reporter that she believes the show’s character has “got legs” and that sex education can work for several more seasons.
“I think I can do a little more with them if I have the chance,” he said. “[Netflix] is very supportive and wants to tell a story that we like. It feels like we are all on the same page, we want to do the same show.”
Which cast members will return for Sex Education season 3?
Although there is no confirmation, we expect a complete list of protagonists – so you can probably hope to see more about Otis, Maeve, Eric, Jean, Adam, Amy, and Jackson in the future.
What was Sex Education season 2 about?
*CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS*
At the start of the second season, we joined Otis, who tried to control his relationship with Ola and make peace with his newly discovered gender.
Things were compounded by several factors: he soon discovered that his mother had a relationship with Ola’s father and that a woman’s mission had begun to revolutionize sex education in schools. He is now also affected by the revelations that Maeve has a crush on him.
At the end of the season, he makes more than a few enemies – annoyed with the extraordinary drunken coupon speech in which he hits Ola and Maeve before continuing to lose her virginity with Ruby, one of the most popular girls at school.
But at the end of the season, he realizes his mistake, thanks in part to a series of conversations with his mother and errant father, by sending an emotional voice message to Maeve – only to be erased by his new friend Isaac before he can hear it.
After being unsure of his compatibility with Rahim’s new friend, Eric is in a relationship with a bluffing ex-Adam, who delivers a shocking speech about his feelings for Eric during a school event.
