Scooby-Doo is very well known for the Scooby-doo gang but what makes them a gang are the villains who challenge them into solving mysteries, and when it is the matter of being the best not everyone could be awesome right? Check this out to know who the best villains of Scooby-doo are!!

So let us start with what Scooby doo is all about!

The Scooby-Doo Show is a mysterious and comedy series which has a 3 seasons and a total of 40 episodes all animated. The fiftieth anniversary of Scooby doo series was celebrated in 2019 and still after 50 years of the show nothing can ever change the love of cartoon lovers for Scooby doo, it also was back as a movie Scoob!

It is one of the show which made my childhood more interesting. Writing this article has made me feel nostalgic like never before and I still remember like yesterday how popular this show was and every episode of it had a twist and suspense, just like The Musical Connection making us a part of the Scooby doo gang. But I think it was all possible because of the villains, so now let us see who the best villains of Scooby doo are;

Best Scooby doo villains of all time!

So now I will present to you the best Scooby doo villains, who has been spooking in our dreams since our childhood and they are,

The Creeper

In the episode “Jeepers, It’s the Creeper!” we see how creeper stands on the road awaiting a bank guard to attack him, just when he gets out of his car, he searches his car for a photograph and knocks the guard to the middle of the road making him unconscious.

Then as usual the Scooby gang helps the guard out making the creeper angry and we think that it is as phantom but he acts more like the walking dead and stalks Scooby and his gang for the entire episode. He wanted the photograph so badly because if the photo had seen the day of light then the real identity of creeper would be revealed and luckily Scooby gang gets it, which helps in catching him.

The Skull Island Vampire

We see the skull island vampire in the ”Vampire Bats and Scaredy Cats” where the Scooby gang visits skull island to meet Lisa, daphne’s friend who after turning 18 years of age will inherit the biggest hotel on island and the only problem here is that the grandfather of lisa has become a vampire after his death and now wants to turn lisa into one. And as you can see in the picture the vampire is really scary and believe me you wouldn’t want to hear his laugh. If you like vampires then check out Vampire Knights Season 3!!

Like we see in horror movies the Scooby gang are the only guests staying in the hotel as everyone is practically scared, and just like the set the scenes are scary too, where the phone keeps ringing but no one talks which is all fine but when the vampire enters the room in which velma and daphne are asleep and the vampire tries to reach to daphne’s neck damn scary dude, I literally couldn’t sleep in a hotel ever since.

The Ghostly Gondolier

The Ghostly Gondolier, just scary like the name he has and I can assure you that this is the most scariest villain of the show and do you know what is the reason?

The geniuses say that this monster is 100 years old! Yes you read it right, he is an old creep who rowed his gondola through the canals in midnight to take revenge as he promised when he was alive. But then we got to know that he was nothing but a man in mask who wanted to scare people off and he didn’t show his face just the bright yellow eyes and mouth, just think what if he attacks in the middle of the night.. you will probably piss yourself in pants on!

The Headless Horseman

In the episode “The Headless Horseman of Halloween” we see the creep riding his horse and runs after the Scooby gang as he wants one of their head and as per books we find out that his head was cut off by the enemies in the time of war and from that time onwards he rises to the real world on every Halloween in search of a new head and in the episode’s end we see him getting a head and which is a pumpkin.

Talking on villains, I am pretty sure you would never imagine yourself seeing a man without head and even worst when he has a a pumpkin head in a not really funny way.

The Ghost clown

In the episode “Bedlam in the Big Top” we see our villain the ghost clown who hypnotizes people into doing dangerous life risking circus related stunts where we see how he hypnotizes Scooby and asks him to do a high-wire act and same way he makes daphne her unicycle on top of an elephant but the worst one is turning shaggy into a lion-tamer of a crazy and hungry lion. Then in the end the gang found out that he was just a normal man who has painted his face and knows how to hypnotize people

I was always scared of jokers and clowns but this one hit me differently, and I guess the Movie Joker was inspired by this episode.

The Phantom Puppeteer

According to my fear I feel that puppets are more creepy than clowns, so to not let me sleep Scooby doo decided to introduce a ghost puppet master.

The episode “The Backstage Rage” starts with the gang entering into a puppet theater for some reason and like other villains, even the puppet master has the creepiness which is demanded. And he is one of the spooky guy I personally get threatened of as he tries to kill the gang with various techniques like pushing the backstage on shaggy or nearly killing Velma by making fall a fan on her. He does it all just to protect his secret from the outside world, making him add his name on our Best Scooby doo villains list.
