Scarlett Johansson sports braided hairdo doing reshoots on Black Widow

The crew and cast for Black Widow have reassembled momentarily to begin reshoots for the upcoming Marvel Studios blockbuster. Spotted Friday in Los Angeles, Scarlett Johansson’s Natasha Romanoff was spotted seeing a new look in comparison to what we’ve seen in trailers. In pictures obtained by the Daily Mail, Johansson’s assassin-turned-Avenger can be seen while wearing a turtleneck and black vest sporting braids.

At a few of the images, the character is pulling her best Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) as she drove an Audi for a few close-up shots. You may view all of the pictures on the Daily Mail website here. It’s unclear how long the Black Widow reshoots are currently planned for.

Reshoots have become a proposed part for many major blockbusters, once heralded as an unwelcome sight because of a host of reasons. Typically set after principal photography ends, the accessibility for reshoots allow studios to examine screen the movie to audiences before going back into the drawing board to add or tweak scenes in time to get the theatrical release of the film, to evaluate reactions.

This past year, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige said reshoots are a Significant part of this Marvel production procedure .” ‘Reshoots’ was a word. ‘Oh this picture’s in reshoots, there has to be an issue,'” the producer said at the time.

He added, “Reshoots are crucial to our films, starting with Iron Man. We always say we are smart filmmakers at Marvel, but we’re not geniuses and also the ideal method to give notes on a film is to see the movie. So we make the movie and go,’Oh yeah, no that’s not right. That doesn’t do the job,” and also have a system now that may be quite exact and productive. [Reshoots last] sometimes one day, occasionally fifteen days, occasionally more to continue to go in and make the transfer the best it could be.”

Black Widow races into theatres on May 1st.

Other upcoming Marvel Studios projects comprise The Falcon and The Winter Soldier in August, The Eternals on November 6, WandaVision in December, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings on February 12, 2021, Loki in Spring 2021, Spider-Man 3 on July 16, 2021, What If…? In Summer 2021, Hawkeye in Fall 2021, also Thor: Love and Thunder on November 5, 2021, and Black Panther Two on May 6, 2022.
