Rick And Morty Season 4 was delayed due to a contract dispute between the creators and Adult Swim. However, after an agreement it gave it’s sci-fi loving fanbase one of it’s greatest ever episode.
The 4th season of Rick and Morty’s impudent animated comedy released only 5 episodes which saddened its fans but later the remaining 5 episodes were released too on NETFLIX.

In the 8th episode, THE VAT OF ACID caught the fan’s eye when the names of the episode were released ahead of time. The episode commences with Rick and Morty jumping into a fake vat of acid when a deal of crystals goes sour with alien criminals.
After the failure of the plan, his grandson demands Rick come up with a new invention that creates a “save point” so someone could correct their mistakes or resurrect from death. However, before understanding how the remote functions,
Morty runs away with it and commits in numerous crimes and pranks knowing that he doesn’t have to deal with its consequences. Later he meets a girl and the whole experience gets permanently erased after his dad makes a blunder and activates the remote.
The first instance was on ScreenRant when a writer and a Rick and Morty fan pointed out the similarities in the plot of VAT OF ACID and a quintessential episode of Doctor Who.
The ninth episode of Doctor Who, Forest of the dead, the doctor (David Tenant), and Donna Noble (Catherine Tate) get trapped in a library. Donna gets trapped in a simulated reality which eventually leads her to get married to a guy named Lee (Jason Pitt) before she gets rescued.
The ScreenRant article explained: Donna eventually realizes that Lee was part of the simulated reality as she couldn’t find him amongst the survivors after she gets rescued. The twist arrives when Lee emerges to be real when she spots her amongst a group of people.
This sublime plot was portrayed beautifully in both of the series, one streaming in NETFLIX while the other of DISNEY HOTSTAR.
