RBSE Rajasthan Board Exam 2020: Exam will not start from 16th April, 2020

RBSE Board Exam 2020 Revised Dates: With the 21-day lockdown announced due to this on-going public health crisis as a result of Coronavirus pandemic, Rajasthan of Secondary Education (RBSE) has decided to postpone all of the board tests or 5th Course, 8th Class, 10th Course and 12th Course students. But, recently several reports have been published on social media platforms claiming that the Rajasthan Board 10th and 12th Assessment 2020, as well as 5th and 8th Class Tests held by DIET’s, will be held from the board form 16th April 2020, after the lockdown is raised.


However, Rajasthan Board has not issued any official notification concerning the revised exam schedule for RBSE Board Exams 2020. This has led to a good deal of confusion and concern among the pupils and their parents who are waiting for the exams to restart.

Education Minister Refutes Rumours

Amid rumours about Rajasthan Board Exam 2020 for many courses being held from 16th State Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasra has issued a clarification terming such reports as news.

He also said that no dates are finalized for papers of RBSE 12th, 8th, 10th and 5th Board Exams. The media reports doing the rounds have promised while examinations for Class pupils could be held from 20th April that exams for 10th Course and Class pupils would commence from 16th.

Fake News on social networking platforms also claimed that RBSE 5th Exam 2020 will be held in first week of May 2020. On the other hand, the state education ministry also denied that any such examination dates are determined by the Boards or DIETs and have termed these reports as imitation.

Number of Students Appearing for Board Exam

According to the quotes shared by BSER, Ajmer, a total of 20.50 lakh students will be looking for the 10th and 12th Class Board Examinations. Obviously, 11.35 lakh pupils are looking for Rajasthan Board 10th Exam 2020, although the remainder 8.67 lakh pupils are looking for 12th Class examination for all three streams i.e. Arts, Commerce and Science.

On similar lines, around 42989 students have registered for Rajasthan Board Vocational Examination for 3847 students and Rajasthan Praveshika Exam are looking for Varishtha Upadhyay examination while 6972 students are looking. All these students are eagerly awaiting the announcement of board exam dates.
