Netflix has introduced some new details about the very first original show from Africa, “Queen Sono.” Here are 5 exciting things. 

The series reflects a trained leading detective whose individual assignment is to improve the lifestyles of the citizens of South Africa.

The plot read,’ While shooting on her most critical mission yet, and she should also face varying relationships within her personal life.’

Queen Sono Season 1: Release Date

Queen Sono” will be published in early 2020. Barmack told in 2018 that “Queen Sono” was just the beginning of Netflix.

According to him,’Over time, our origins will likely get immersed in Africa and South Africa, and we’re moving fairly swiftly to that today, and plan to spend more in local content.’

Netflix has since got “Shadow” and “Blood & Water,” two more programs from South Africa.

How Many Episodes will be there

It’s expected, it will provide six episodes. Queen Sono is a series. She performs a qualified detective doing her very best to enhance the lifestyles of South African residents’ character.

Netflix’s Vice President of International Originals for Europe and Africa, Kelly Luegenbiehl, said, ‘Queen Sono will have striking components, a little bit of amusement and be very character-driven.’

Further, Netflix’s vice president of international originals, Erik Barmack, additionally said: ‘Taking ability similar to this and narrating stories to the rest of the world puts Pearl in precisely the same class as other strong female characters like Claire Underwood House of Cards’ and Jessica Jones.’

Ostensibly, “Queen Sono” Has Been filmed in 37 various places across Africa, including the Johannesburg CBD, Sandton, Soweto, Lagos, Park Station, Kenya, and Zanzibar. Spectators will see languages such as English, Afrikaans, isiXhosa, isiZulu, Russian, and French.

Queen Sono Season 1 Cast

According to the origin, the role is performed by South African actress Pearl Thusi. More cast that includes Vuyo Dabula as an ex-spy named Sandhu, Sechaba Morojele as Dr. Sid, director of the SOG, Chi Mhende as a SOG representative, Loyiso Madinga as a SOG representative, Rob Van Vuuren as a SOG agent, Kate Liquorish plays Ekaterina, an heiress with ulterior motives, Khathu Ramabulana as Queen’s childhood friend, William, Enhle Maphumulo as Nova, Abigail Kubekha as Mazet, Queen’s grandma, the supporting cast introduces Otto Nobel, Connie Chiume, along with James Ngcobo.

Manufacturing company Diprente is producing queen Sono. The showrunner, Kagiso Lediga, and director of this show are currently working together with manager Tebogo Malope. 

Both of these will direct three episodes, each with a duo managed by producer Tamsin Andersson.

The Queen Sono of Netflix is going to be free in over 190 countries.
