The role that brought him an Oscar nomination has driven the billion-dollar franchise over the previous two decades. But after the release of 2017’s fifth outing, Salazar’s Revenge (or Dead Men Tell No Tales in the US) it seemed like Depp was dropped.
Back in 2018, the Skyler Shuler of The DisInsider maintained the franchise now went to be focused on pirate Redd.
Fans will know she is a character from the Disneyland ride the movie series is based on But now We Got This Covered’s origin, who correctly predicted that Disney was making a live-action Aladdin sequel, asserts that the House of Mouse’s executives is calling for Depp’s yield.
The Other Casts in Part 6
Allegedly, this is in light of “the recent turn of events in Depp’s legal conflict [using ex-wife Amber Heard] along with the overwhelming support from the public in his favour.”
The socket also pointed out that if Depp did reunite for Pirates of the Caribbean 6, it would just be in a supportive role.
When Keira Knightley’s Elizabeth Swann and Orlando Bloom’s Will Turner were the leads after all this was true in The Curse of the Black Pearl.
But from Sparrow became direct because the stars didn’t go back for the fourth outing, and cameoed in the fifth.
Yet, according to the insider, this female pirate would be direct of Pirates 6.
Presumably, this could be Redd and Sparrow are something of a mentor for her.
Let’s not forget in which the next sequel could proceed that the ending credits scene of the Revenge of Salazar teased.
The film’s decision saw Will and Elizabeth finally reunited after each of the curses of the sea had been ended.
But this also meant the return of Davy Jones, who perished in World’s End at third film’s end.
It might have been a fantasy, but a creature that has been indicated to be Jones approached the bed of Elizabeth and Will, together with the latter waking up to find nothing but barnacles on the floor.
Of course, if Disney are rebooting the franchise, this point may be ignored by them and go elsewhere.
After all, Davy Jones actor Billy Nighy hadn’t any idea of the addition until he was informed by a journalist about it.
Johnny Depp on Part 6
Lately, Depp maintained a couple years ago that Disney originally”hated” his vision for Captain Jack and desired him fired.
Speaking with GQ, Depp said: “Disney loathed me.
“[They were] thinking of every way they could to get rid of me, to flame me. ‘we’re going to get to subtitle him.’ ‘Captain Jack Sparrow isn’t understood by us. What is wrong with him?’ ‘What’s wrong with his arms?’ ‘Is he ?”’ ‘Is he emotionally f***ing stupefied?’ ‘Is he? ”’
“I told them,’Look, you do not enjoy what I’m doing, flame me. You hired me to do a job and perform with the personality and that is what I want to do.’
“This is actually the work. I mean, had not they seen any of those work I had done? You may want to take a look at that before you hire a motherf***er, you know? I knew I had been right. Even the very first time if they came back to me saying,’No, no, what’s this?’ It felt. Even when the other actors were looking at me like I was a complete menace, I stayed with it.”
