The outburst of the Corona Virus is so intense all over the world. China was the place where this virus had originated and even it is the most affected of all places. But this does not back in Vin Diesel releasing his two movies Bloodshot and Fast and Furious 9.
Huge blow for Box-Office :
China was the main country that has contributed to Vin Diesel’s action-packed movies even more than the domestic place. Coming to the stats, China gave a record $392,807,017 to The Fate of the Furious, aka Fast 8, while only $226,008,385 movie got at the domestic box office. So it is quite evident in China’s influence on the box office. Despite all this, he made it clear that both his films will be releasing as per scheduled dates only.
Even want to promote in China :
Vin Diesel is even set to promote in China despite the virus. He relates himself to the superhero he is playing as bloodshot where he is a soldier. And being a soldier at whatever the situation it might be he must do his job. He said that he was doing the same. He even pleaded to Sony for this. He further said in a cinematic way that he won’t fault anyone in the world for blaming them to release the movie at such a time when the outburst of the virus is intense. He further said that they right now need movies more than ever before.
They are already in a very interesting time where cinema and the cinematic experience is so threatened. So he tells all to put it on record that they are going to show up. Bloodshot is going to release on March 13 and Fast and Furious 9 is going to hit the theatres in May. So Vin Diesel is not at all shying at postponing the dates of his movies despite sure loss at Box-office.
