One Person Was Killed and Three Others Were Injured When a Helicopter Crashed Near Livingston, Mississippi


On Thursday, the Texas Department of Public Safety reported that one person died and three got injured in a helicopter crash that happened near Livingston, at a field in Polk County.

Southeast Texas Region tweeted “At approximately 11:45 a.m. today, a Bell 206 #helicopter crashed in Polk Co. We can confirm at least one person has died, & three others are being treated at a local hospital.


The FAA has been notified and will investigate.

Troopers are securing the scene for investigators.”

A Bell 206 helicopter, crashed at around 11:45 a.m. in the deep woods of Galloway Lane and Highway 146, southeast of Livingston.

Daniel King, who died at the scene of Crash, was 54 years old and lived in  Livingston.

 The other two passengers, Braydon King and Brocton King, 26 years old and 33 years old, respectively, were injured and taken to CHI St. Luke’s Hospital, Livingston.
