Justice League fans were promised by Zack Snyder that big changes to the movie’s visuals ahead of the Snyder Cut landing on HBO Max.
During post-production Snyder famously left Justice League when it was around 90 percent complete. 80 pages of new script were added by Joss Whedon as several characters were cut and the tone of the movie was altered.
The bright red sky used during the movie’s climax, a change from the blue hues of the first trailers was called out by the critics of the Whedon Cut.
There is a confirmation from Synder’s side that he’s nixing the red sky in his Snyder Cut. The trailers have become a benchmark to figure out what did and didn’t make it from Snyder’s original into the theatrical cut ever since the release of the Justice League.
Lots of changes made to the Justice League under Whedon, but they were apparent in the third act. Snyder admitted he had nothing to do with Whedon’s subplot of a Russian family as the original ending setting up Justice League 2 with Darkseid was discarded.
The director only confirmed its actual existence while fandom has been vocal about the Snyder Cut since Justice League bombed out of the box office. The money will be spent on adding VFX and restoring visuals like his original skyline.
The star cast of the film includes celebrities such as Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon.
The fans should be geared up to watch the movie as it will be released exclusively on HBO Max in 2021.
