So, our beloved demonic hero is back with a new season. Netflix has finally resolved to resurrect the series in 2020.
The network has declared that the show will split into two parts. The first 10 episodes will stream first followed, by 6 episodes after a short pause.
As of the earlier decision, the season was confirmed for 10 episodes, but the creators added six later.
The filming of season 5 has begun in September 2019.
The Netflix officials did not announce any particular date for season 5.
But if you go through the last 4 seasons 1st releasing on 25th January 2016, followed by 2nd on 19th September, the third on 2nd October 2017 and ultimately 4th on 8th May 2019 by Netflix streaming platform.
As for the titular character, Tom Ellis is set to bring the charm back to the show. plus splendid actors like Kevin Alejandro as Detective dan Espinoza, Scarlett Estevez as Trixie Espinoza, DB Woodside as Amenadiel, Lesley-Ann Brandt as Mazikeen, Rachael Harris as Dr. Linda Martin, Aimee Garcia as Ella Lopez and with a glimpse at Lauren Germany as detective Chloe Decker.

The Devil experienced an extremity of personality during the fourth season of Lucifer.
After the death of Cain and his Demon, in the sixth episode, his first lover Eve was wrapped up by the German Woman, Inbar Lavi–Chloe.
After being pursued in a particular area of evil existence, Lucifer was in the fourth year of the season finally back to the doom, and he was a glorious, blessed messenger, Devil after the sorrowful farewell to Chloe.
Eventually, we will see whether Lucifer clings to his obligations and continues to rule from hell or whether he finds a way to find a replacement to return to Chloe.
Lucifer is one of Netflix’s most strong programs over the years. The audience is very eager to get the release updates.
