The series draws on the answer to the simple question with solid, well-etched characters and high ambitions. Questions are “Why are not you laughing? Has someone died?” However, the underlying answer has a deadly meaning. Because of the humorous concept, season 1 received warm responses.

‘Hasmukh’ Season 2: Plot Details

Hasmukh is a small-town comedian. He is working as an assistant to Saharanpur’s comedian Gulati. Hasmukh has been requesting Gulati to give him a chance to perform. However, Gulati does not agree.

Gulati has no faith in Hasmukh’s skills. One day, Hasmukh loses his patience and teams up with Jimmy and leaves for Mumbai. He wants to win the television talent hunt show, Comedy Badshaho.

In the meantime, Hasmukh realizes that his innovation for comedy comes only after he murders someone. Each murder guides him one step toward glory and in turn, changes him into a serial killer.

But his problems begin to start. Comedy Badshaho’s runner up Promila, lead contender KK, and Ajinkya create problems to slow down Hasmukh’s progress. While on the other hand, two cops are on the chase of the serial killer as when dead bodies start emerging one after the other.

Season 1 ends with KK winning the contest after he blackmails the show host. Gulati taunts Hasmukh on his path toward worst. Season 2 should pick up the story from here, documenting Hasmukh’s journey as he attempts to seal his destiny while allowing murder to act as his tonic.
