Morbius has officially been added to the list of delayed films due to the coronavirus outbreak. The film’s new releasing date is March 2021. While the news is not exactly exciting, a photo recently released did give some of the fans a little something to look forward to.
Morbius Release Details
Comic-Con Magazine released a photo of Jared Leto as Morbius and it is awesome. It shows Leto’s face with a silver of the Morbius. A nod to the premise of the film. In an attempt to save his own life, biochemist Michael Morbius tries to come up with a cure for his rare blood disease. It sees a man as time is ticking down perhaps slipping into the most vulnerable state of life: willing to do anything to survive.
The Cast and Plot
His portrayal of the character, from what we have seen so far, is sure to be a good one. Jared takes on the character very perfectly. The film has director Daniel Espinosa at the helm and is set to be released on July 31st.
However, whether or not that release date will stick remains to be seen due to the coronavirus, a pandemic that has caused delays for many films, forcing many theatres to close and studios to reschedule certain release dates. Hopefully, Morbius can avoid any changes to its release date.
Well, this is it, guys. Let us hope the best for the entire team and hope the best.
Stay home and stay safe.
