So, for the fans that were eagerly waiting for Messiah season 2, Netflix has announced the non-renewal of the series. Some say that the renewal is canceled due to some ‘anti-Islamic’ accusations but we don’t know what the truth is. 

William Travel, who played the role of Will Mathers in the series, confirmed in his Instagram handle that “The next season of the series is not coming”.

He also thanked his fans for all the love and support. He wrote “It’s a very sad day today” which indicates that the actor is not happy with the cancellation news of Messiah season 2. 

Still, we advise you to not lose your heart and keep the hope alive. We never know if the makers change their minds and start working on the script for the next season.

We all know that the makers have canceled season 2 of Messiah and it was announced on March 26, 2020, by Netflix.

But if the makers decide to renew the series than the story would revolve around Isa (Jesus) who gathered a group of people who became his followers.

The people start treating him as god and assume that he is capable of doing the impossible. The storyline will somewhat remain similar to season 1.
