It could be a coincidence. Again, it could well be a bit of a prophecy. If you are a fan of Lucifer and Crisis on Infinite Earths, you are probably going to side with the latter option. After all, who can forget the cameo the Devil made in Crisis? And in case you may have missed a tiny detail in Lucifer season 2, do not worry. Read on to find out if the Devil actually predicted the Crisis.
In the second season of Lucifer, we see the Devil, when confronted with a website on the computer screen threatening Judgement Day, commenting, “Judgment Day? Those people should really be careful about how they use that phrase. It isn’t actually due for another couple of years.”
Now the interesting matter is that this happened back in October 2016. After about a couple of years, in December 2019, we saw Crisis on Infinite Earths appearing. We saw how Crisis did away with all the previous Arrowverse elements and how it rebooted the series, taking it in a new direction.
Now the question naturally arises, did the Devil predict the doomsday of the Arrowverse in the second season of Lucifer? Or was it a mere coincidence? If it was a mere coincidence, how do we explain Lucifer’s cameo in an episode of Crisis?
