The favorite devil is back with its fifth and last installment. Thanks to the show fans, Lucifer is brought back by Netflix.
The show is based on the character created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth, and Mike Dringenberg and featured as DC comic series.
The series chronicles the tales of the devil but in a modern setting. Lucifer Morningstar, the lord of hell is bored. He comes on earth in search of an interesting life and finds himself working as a consultant to the LAPD.
Not only this, the detective Chloe Decker and his partner in solving crimes bring out a vulnerable side in him, literally!
Netflix renewed season 5 on June 6, 2019. The series will be 16 episodes long. Sadly no official release date has been confirmed.
It is predicted though to be released either in Summer or Spring 2020. A delay might also be possible considering it is the final season for Lucifer. All fans can do is wait and re-watch until then.
Tom Ellis will be back playing our favorite devil and nightclub owner, Lucifer Morningstar. Lauren German is playing her role as Detective Chloe Decker.
Other cast members include Kevin Alejandro as Detective Espinoza, Amiee Garcia as Ella Lopez, Esley-Ann Brandt as Mazikeen and Rachel Harris as Dr. Linda Martin.
Also, God himself will appear played by Dennis Haysbert.
