Lucifer season 5 is coming back. The show is based on Lucifer Morningstar (Alice), an angel who is also the son of God. He is fed up as the King of Hell so he comes to Earth and joins the LAPD. He works with Detective Decker to help catch the bad guys.
The good news is that Netflix has renewed the show for the next season which is going to be in the previous and final seasons.

Lucifer was to have 10 episodes in season five. But now, the episodes have been extended to 16. This is 6 more episodes! Which is going to live for all of us !!
Lucifer season 5 Release date
No authentic confirmation is made. However, it is highly likely that it is going to be released in spring/summer 2020.
After the disappointing end of Lucifer season 4, fans were desperate for another season.
Fans started the hashtag on Twitter as a #SaveLucifer campaign. Attracting the audience’s attention to your opinion.
Replyed to Fan’s tweet. And Lucifer was remade for another season. The campaign paid a significant part in bringing the show back for a second season.
The protesters felt that if not for the campaign, there would be little chance of Lucifer returning.
The heads of the show, Tom Ellis and Lauren Jerman, will likely continue their roles as Lucifer Morningstar and Detective Chloe Decker.
Who will return
Kevin Alejandro may also return as Daisy’s former detective Dan Espinoza, with Leslie-Ann Brandt as Maziken, Lucy as a bodyguard, Ella Lopez as Amy Garcia, and Lucifer’s physician, Dr. Rachel Harris as Linda Martin.
