At first glance, everyone assumed that Lucifer felt the same way. But, there is a but factor in it. In a recent interview star Tom Ellis has hinted this may not be the case. Keep scrolling and give it a read.

Why hasn’t Lucifer told Chloe he loves her?

The climax moment of the string was very hard for both Lucifer and Chloe. That was the same moments when told Chloe how he needed to return to Hell. While on the other hand, something happened, which we all are waiting for the last four series. Chloe did not want Lucifer to go back, She was desperate for him to stay. She subsequently admitted her feelings for him.

She stated: “Lucifer, I’m so sorry how I acted when I first saw your face. It was stupid and please don’t go. I love you. I love you, please don’t leave.”

Lucifer was shocked as he was not expecting her admission at the moment. Now, is the turn for him. He went on to say her how she was his first love.

He said: “My first love was never Eve, it was you, Chloe. It always has been.”

The pair then shared a kiss. Lucifer left Chloe on Earth to return to Hell. Lucifer’s affection for Chloe was very clear. But it is to be noticed how he did not actually say ‘I love you’ back.

Hints are given by the lead actor Ellis for Lucifer Season 5

Speaking to an interview back in January, he said: “We start the season with Lucifer in Hell and Chloe on Earth after she’s finally told him ‘I love you’.”

When repeatedly asked to put more light on the scene, Ellis pointed out this is not actually what happened.

He replied: “Some viewers will note that Lucifer didn’t actually say ‘I love you’ back.”

When asked if this was intentional, Ellis added: “Everything is intentional on this show.”

Fans Reaction on Season 4

This declaration from the lead leaves the fans in shock. Now, they wondered whether this means Lucifer does not have the same feelings as Chloe. When to dig out some more details a reporter asked him if there is a full ‘I love you’ in this season

He teased: “I can neither confirm nor deny”

On this, some of the followers try to speculate what exactly Ellis’ comments could mean. Here are some of the guesses:

User always_anon wrote: “Does someone think (if it happens of course) Lucifer saying ‘’I love you’’ might result in something more than a romantic moment?

“Why did Tom remark on that fact without being explicitly asked?”

Another fan named speranza185 suggested: “Lucifer said Chloe was his first love, and that he had loved her.

“He didn’t say ‘I love you.’ I guess that could mean he doesn’t presently still love her.

“But if so, he spoke in a misleading way. Very misleading. So I’m not sure what Tom was getting at.”

A third fanatic named Isle-Of-Whimsey added: “I imagine they are going to play up that moment exponentially until it finally happens.

“Even though everyone on Earth, Heaven (and probably Hell at this point!) knows this already.”

There are a lot of fans theory. And nobody knows What will happen next?

We will keep you updated if we would see a single ray of hope.
