Karnataka SSLC Exam 2020 Not Cancelled: Amid raging rumours about conclusion of SSLC Exam 2020 of Karnataka Board, the state primary schooling minister S Suresh Kumar has refuted these reports as fake news and said 10th Class Board Exam hasn’t been cancelled.
The clarification from state education minister arrived after students and parents reached out to the board concerning the rumours which claimed cancellation of the Karnataka 10th Assessment 2020 because of the coronavirus.
Apart from this, the education minister added that the final decision about Karnataka SSLC Exam 2020 dates are going to be taken by 3rd. He does not believe any info that was misleading regarding SSLC Tests 2020 and urged students, parents and media arrangements to steer clear.
Students Eager for Karnataka SSLC Exam 2020: Minister
State Primary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar said he made a decision to issue a clarification on SSLC Exam 2020 not being cancelled after parents and several students reached out to him while interacting with media persons.
Parents and these students claimed that rumours are going on in social media which suggest that Karnataka SSLC Exam 2020 will probably be cancelled. He explained that no decision was taken the KSEEB Board or by the State Education Department.
In addition, he stated that in his interactions, pupils urged the minister to not cancel the Board Exam as they had studied hard and prepared well for the exam.
8 Lakh students to look for Karnataka SSLC Exam
Over 8 lakh students from Class are currently waiting to appear for SSLC Exam 2020. The tests were slated to commence from 27th but since then have been postponed on account of the pandemic in the nation.
Postponement in Karnataka SSLC Exam 2020 and in the declaration of results thereafter are expected to have a cascading effect on pre-university and faculty entry.
Apart from SSLC Exam, even 1 newspaper of 2nd PUC Exam for Class Students is pending, which will need to be held May 2020, only after lockdown is lifted on 3rd.
