Johnny Depp’s return to Pirates of the Caribbean is “not quite sure” stated by the Producer Jerry Bruckheimer. What if your favourite character played by your actor will be replaced by some other actor? Thinking about it can break your heart right. What if I say it is going to happen with our one of the best actors!
Well, there is some tittle-tattle going on which suggests that the makers of Pirates of the Caribbean are thinking to replace its lead. Yes, here I am talking about our beloved Johnny Depp who put himself in the character of Captain Jack Sparrow.
This rumours made a noise much louder when the producer of the film series has admitted to being unsure about whether the actor will be returning as Captain Jack Sparrow in the next film.
The stand of producer Jerry Bruckheimer
Well, the producer Jerry Bruckheimer has finally spoken out about plans for Pirates of the Caribbean 6. although on the flip side tried to hide himself to offer clarity on Depp’s status. Speaking to an interview, Bruckheimer revealed: “The one we’re developing right now, we’re not sure quite what Johnny’s role is going to be.” Further, he continued, “So, we’re going to have to see.”
We all are witnessing Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow on the screen when he made his debut in 2003. The film was action-adventure Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, alongside Keira Knightley, Geoffrey Rush, and Orlando Bloom.
And when this debut turned into a perfect string of a bond we all don’t know. He becomes the face of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. This unstoppable voyage continued and followed by the sequels – Dead Man’s Chest in 2006, 2007’s At World’s End, On Stranger Tides in 2011, and the most recent instalment, Dead Men Tell No Tales, which was released in 2017.
Way back to 2018
Well, unsurprisingly this is not the first time when we are talking about the confirmation of the appearance of Depp in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Previously in the year 2018 also, Disney’s film chief obliged to have verified that Depp will not resemble in the Pirates of the Caribbean reboot.
Bruckheimer was after all of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies and has now said that a script – rumoured to be have been indited by Craig Mazin and Ted Elliott.
