In its 11th episode, there was a romantic kiss between the couple. This fateful kiss fired the show’s ratings upwards overnight.
What Happened Okay To Not Be Okay?
On 25th July 2020, the 11th episode of It’s Okay To Not Be Okay aired. The leads Kim Soo-Hyun and Seo Ye-Ji shared a passionate kiss in that episode.
After this, the ratings of the show improved dramatically. Fans of the show are no doubt delighted at this, as are the makers.
What The Show Is About:
The series revolves around a romantic couple who try to come to terms with and heal each other’s traumatic experiences from the past. As of now, 12 episodes in total have aired.
Backstreet Rookie Takes a Slightly Dip:
However, not all South Korean series have good news to provide. Backstreet Rookie is a South Korean television series starring Ji Chang-Wook and Kim Yoo-Jung.
The series is based on the 2016–2017 webtoon Convenience Store Seat-Byul written by Hwalhwasan and illustrated by Geumsagong.
The Dip in Ratings:
The series recently saw its ratings fall slightly. On 25th July 2020, the 12th episode of the series aired. The series has enjoyed very high ratings throughout, so far, but after the 12th episode, there was a slight hint of deterioration. The average ratings fell.
However, fans are hopeful that this popular series will surely bounce back with better content in the future and regain its decent ratings.
The series features Ji Chang-Wook and Kim Yoo-Jung in the two lead roles. The 13th episode of the series will be out on 31st July 2020.
