Isekai Quartet is returning with a new movie, Isekai Quartet: Another World. In Japan, the release date for Another World has been set for June 2022.
The Isekai Quartet is one of Kadokawa’s most interesting recent anime projects, combining some of the best fantasy and action anime projects such as The Saga of Tanya the Evil, Konosuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World!, Re: Zero -Beginning Life in Another Planet, The Rising of the Shield Hero, and Overlord into another unique kind of world.

The anime series Isekai Quartet launched in April 2019 and soon became a fan favorite thanks to its stunning visuals and funny storyline.
Isekai Quartet: Another World: When Is the Anime Releasing?
Isekai Quartet: Another World is set to be released in Japan this summer, shocking fans of the first two seasons who assumed the anime would return for a new film instead. The film’s debut in Japan has been set for June 10th, according to the latest poster and trailer.

When the second season of the anime series finished, a chibi version of Roswaal L. Mathers from Re: ZERO proclaimed, “The construction of the sequel to Isekai Quartet has been determined.” We’re still unsure if the Isekai Quartet film is the long-awaited sequel that was first announced in March 2021.
Isekai Quartet: Another World: What’s the Storyline of the Anime?
The Kawai Chibi anime Isekai Quartet was created from a variety of fantasy and action anime. The protagonists of KonoSuba, Overlord, Re:Zero: Starting Life in Another World, and The Saga of Tanya the Evil pushed a button jointly and then were transferred into another world.
Now, these warriors had to attend High School in this new environment, and with no way out, the protagonists are compelled to lead a normal high school life and make friends with their peers. The Isekai Quartet series was a huge hit in both its first and second seasons, so let’s learn more about the movie.
The details about the storyline of Isekai Quartet Another World are still yet to be announced, but we can undoubtedly expect some of the same hilarious antics as in the anime. “Isekai Quartet” is a playful perspective on a genre and cast of characters that can be serious at times. Isekai Quartet Another World may serve as a barrier for its cast by relocating them to another world, but the film will nonetheless give lots of laughter.
Isekai Quartet: Another World: Will There Be New Chibi Characters in the Movie?
Minoru Ashina, as previously reported, would write the script and direct Isekai Quartet Another World, and Minoru Takehara will design the characters and serve as the main animation director. Studio Puyukai will manage animation production.
As the trailer and poster suggest, the casts of the five series will be taken to a new realm by a sudden portal, where they will face three new opponents that share certain similarities with the particular antagonists of each anime.

The anime will introduce new chibi characters and cast such as Minami Tanaka will play Pantagruel, the strange girl with the eyepatch, a reference to Konosuba; Nana Mizuki will voice Vera Mitrohina, a warrior who will be dressed in an army uniform similar to the troops in Saga of Tanya the Evil, and Toshiyuki Morikawa will portray Alec, who shares some design resemblance with the characters in Re: Zero –Starting
What’s the Release Date for International Theatres?
There are currently no details on when Isekai Quartet: Another World will be released in overseas locations. November-December and May-July are the greatest months for movies like this to have a possibility of being a spectacular release, while January and February are considered “poor months” for bad films. With this thought in mind, it’s no wonder that Isekai Quarter Another World will be released in June or early Summer 2022.
The only question is if the movie will be released in theatres all around the world. Usually, such enjoyment is limited to large anime franchises like Dragon Ball and, most recently, Jujutsu Kaisen. However certain smaller anime films will receive limited screenings in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and others. If it does not premiere in other countries, Crunchyroll will almost certainly make it available at some point.
