Netflix has recently released a trailer for I’m Not Okay With This, a new series about Sydney, a teenaged girl played with Sophie Lillis (young Beverley from It) who suddenly finds she has special powers.
The series, which is accommodated by a Charles Forsman image novel and directed by Jonathan Entwistle, was produced by the very same manufacturers as Stranger Things.
This is not the first time Entwistle has adapted a Forsman novel for Netflix–he also directed two seasons of End of the F***ing World, which wrapped up in 2019.
The trailer, below, opens with a Sydney, but it looks like there will be conventional elements, too.
Lillis stars alongside Wyatt Oleff, who was also inside. He and Stanley Uris at the It movies; here, he plays a character called Stanley Barber performed. He doesn’t only play Stanleys, however –he featured at the Guardians of the Galaxy films as youthful Peter Quill.
The show will launch the streaming platform on February 26. Netflix has a lot of films planned for 2020 too. Stranger Things is returning for the fourth season and we have seen a teaser.
