Venom 2 will be present in Sony’s Marvel Universe, the movie may additionally unite with the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Including much advertising, that kind of commercial success, and it’s a feasibility to be the cornerstone of Sony’s Marvel Universe, it’s no surprise that a sequel soon began. Wendy 2 is expected to be released in October 2020, with Hardy playing Eddie Brock. It is also slated to produce Viennom’s post-credits scene, with Woody Harrelson playing the role of Cletus Cassidy, aka Carnage, in its entirety.
The release of Venom 2 will be at an interesting time, as it will be a few months after Morbius Land. Starring Jared Leto, the Morbius trailer confirmed that it was associated with the MCU about the presence of Spider-Man and Michael Keaton’s Vulture. This then opens the way for Venom 2 to directly connect to the MCU, along with some possible options for doing so.
The universe has Venom 2 similar to Morbius
Like its predecessor, Venom 2 is present in Sony’s Marvel Universe, aka Sony’s Universe of Marvel Character. The next installment will be Morbius, while an untitled Sony Marvel movie is scheduled for October 2021. However, while Venom 2’s legs are firmly planted in the SMU or SUMC, it is now technically also present in the Marvelemememe Universe.
Michael Keaton’s Vulture can appear in Venom 2
Venom 2 ‘s association with the MCU via viral marketing is fine, but it’s also likely that Sony (and Marvel) would prefer a more solid connection to the audience because that’s what counts in front of the biggest screen in the world. Not so, fans will be seen dying on social media. Given the manipulation of Morbius, one of the most rational and easiest methods of Michael Keaton’s vulture would be the cameo, which we know is at least a minor appearance in the Jared Leto film.
Eddie Brock may work for Daily Armpit in Venom 2
Venom 2’s MCU connection will come via symbiosis, it is also possible that it binds Eddie Brock more than a black suit. Like in the comics, Venum’s Brock is an investigative journalist, though in the 2018 film he loses his job after being caught in a lawsuit about the Life Foundation. By the end of Venum, however, he is finding his way into journalism, ready to interview Cletus Cassidy with Brett.
Tom Holland may have a Venom 2 cameo in Spider-Man
There are a few different ways that Venom 2 can survive in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but none will be as big a deal as the actual appearance of Tom Holland from Spider-Man. One of the biggest concerns many Marvel fans had about a Venom solo film in the first place was that the character is intrinsically linked to Spider-Man.
The same nonsense has surfaced again, with rumors that Holland will have a Spider-Man Cameo 2. It can still be seen how true this is, but if Sony and Marvel are looking to bridge the universe
