Hocus Pocus, is that scary yet fantastic movie which we all crave for. It is based upon the Halloween theme. The film was released in 1993, which made a place in the hearts of the children of the generation. While everyone isn’t a fan of the movie but it gains a great deal of popularity in December as It’s Halloween Time! And to provide the crowd another fantastic experience, Hocus Pocus is here with the sequel release.
The launch of Hocus Pocus two was officially declared in 2017. Plus, it came with a surprise it would incorporate a new writer. The author of this sequel is Scarlett Lacey, that has replaced Neil Cuthbert, the screenwriters, and Mick Garris. And the film would be produced by the producer David Kirschner. But Kenny Ortega, who headed the first movie would not be a part of this franchise.
Bette Midler was discovered during a meeting; she would be playing a role again. She was also observed encouraging Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker, to play the part of the witch sisters. The two later told that though they would like to be featured again, a new throw has been decided for the movie. But we have not heard any news of update, so there may be a chance that the previous throw might have a seat at the sequel.
If it comes to the plot of the film, it is likely would serve as the plotline. Two of the protagonists, Max and Allison, give birth to a 17-year-old daughter, Poppy, who gets into a confrontation with the Sanderson sisters. But this plotline hasn’t been verified; thus, it might be possible that the narrative of this sequel takes a different turn.
The release date is still in imagining, and the movie does not possess an IMDB page. So the lovers are from the dark up until now. The sequel is reported to be aired on various platforms, and it may also debut on Disney+.
