Sex Education is a British teen comedy web television series created by Laurie Nunn. When Sex Education first released in 2019, it became the talk of the town and for all the right reasons. Sex Education has very efficiently dealt with the social taboo ” Sex”. It is a topic that is often avoided and not talked about in society and in general. Thus the series has reached out to anyone and everyone who has ever or is continuing to face issues regarding Sex. Needless to say, Sex Education has a massive fan base that mostly constitutes of teenagers who after watching the series have gathered the confidence and courage to talk about it.
Season one focused on the life of Otis Milburn, a socially awkward teenager who was ambivalent about Sex and love in general. It also focused on the story of Maeve, a confident but troubled teenager coming from a broken family. Moreover, the depiction of the students of Moordale Hight, each of whom were dealing with some problems of their own is what made the series even more relatable. Thus in the second season of the series, we see Otis finally managed to secure a relationship with Ola but he has doubts of his own. Just when he was beginning to learn about relationships he gets a reality check and the pressure of high school romance.
However what intrigued us about the second season of the series is the fact that it’s ending was phenomenal, thereby hinting on the arrival of a third season. The last episode of the series culminates with the production of Romeo and Juliet. In this particular segment of that series, we find out major repercussions for the fourth season. We find out that Jean is pregnant, Eric chose Adam over his once crush Rahim but most importantly Otis finally gathers the courage to confess his love for Maeve even though it’s through a voice mail but plot twist! We see that newcomer Issac deliberately delete it.
Needless to say, that arrival of season 3 won’t be a surprise to us. We are more than curious to find out what happens next in the lives of Maeve and Otis.
