Last week UK Netflix released some episodes of Good Girls Season 3. Soon after NBC announced the renewal of the series for Season 4.
Also, fans are delighted to know that there will more Beth (Christina Hendricks) and Rio (Manny Montana) in Good Girls Season 4. As now Rio has come back from the dead. Loyal fans of the show are aware that there is so much chemistry between the two. Moreover, the creator of the show hinted that there will some romance between the pair in the upcoming Season 4. What Happened In The Past Seasons Of Good Girls?
Ever since Beth entered the crime world with her group, Rio became apart of her life. Their connection was the closest one in all the past three seasons. Moreover, their relationship moved from hatred to flirtation. Also, Rio’s habit of unannounced visits to Beth’s house fueled their relationship.
Moreover, the pair even began a fling, but an ill-fated one. Because, in Good Girls Season 2, Beth hit Rio for dead. So, we were sure there is no coming back for the duo now.
As expected, their relationship moved forward from a bad one to worse. So we witnessed Beth, Ruby Hill (Retta), and Annie Marks (Mae Whitman) making a plan to kill Rio in Season 3. but looks like, this plan might not work out as planned. The creator of the show teased the audience with a glimpse of their future.
What Good Girls Season 4 Has In Store For Beth And Rio?
Showrunner Jenna Bans and Bill Krebs teased about the future of the pair during ana interview with the Entertainment Weekly.
They said that plans are going on to change the pace of the show. The pair for long have been at each other’s throat and making plans for the murder of the other. But that’s going to change now.
For the past 11 episodes, they have been plotting each other’s murder. But the director was looking forward to giving it a direction. However, the last five episodes were never released, courtesy of coronavirus.
Bans said that they were going to throw them into a situation of close proximity. But they are still going to do so in Season 4. Because we are aware no one goes from sleeping together to murder thoughts without conflicting feelings. So, we will get to see Beth’s conflicted mind about Rio.
Curbs added that they were looking forward to in Season 3, but now they will surely put in Good Girls Season 4.
Curbs explained how Beth will be in a confused state during the entires season 4. He added, “The danger of Rio breaks up the monotony of her everyday life, and so how do you quit that?”.
