Ginny & Georgia Has Been Renewed For Season 2

On Monday, Netflix officially revealed the potential for the hit series Ginny & Georgia. In accordance with Entertainment Tonight, Ginny & Georgia has been renewed for Season Two. The first season proved on the streaming service in February and allegedly earned over 52 million viewers within a month.

ET noted that Season 2 will consist of ten 60-minute episodes and will see the return of stars Brianne Howey (Georgia) and Antonia Gentry (Ginny). To observe the exciting thing, Netflix released a video that featured the cast, including Howey and Gentry, where they teased the upcoming season. From the clip, they shared that there’ll be”more living space for dance parties” and”more climbing through windows.” The cast also shared with the MANG catchphrase that fans will surely recognize, “Love you, mean it, hate you, kidding.” There’s currently no date set for Season 2’s premiere.

Ginny & Georgia Season 2

After the release of Season 1, several members of the cast spoke about their hopes for a possible Season 2. As viewers know (spoilers ahead for the ending of Season 1), the primary season finished with Ginny and her younger brother Austin (Diesel La Torraca) running away from their house and their mother on a bike together. While speaking with ET, Howey clarified that she expects that in Season 2, “something goes wrong and Ginny comes home.”

Which was printed in early March, where she opened up on which she hopes to see in Season 2 if the show gets revived. According to the actor, she is excited about seeing Ginny and Georgia’s connection being explored even further given the events which happened to the end of Season 1. She clarified, “I don’t know what will be in store if we do get revived or not. But I’d say, I wish to see Ginny get down and dirty. I would like to see her turn into Georgia a tiny bit. I want to see her dig in and show that mean streak I know she has. That would be fun to explore. However, I’m just taking things a day at a time right now.” Gentry also told ET that she wants to learn more about the private investigator who is looking to her mother’s mysterious past. Thus, fans will have plenty to look forward to when it has to do with Season 2.
