Fuller House Season 5 Renewal Status
Official Renewal Status: Updated for the last season (last updated: 01/31/2018)
The series has been given the final season on Netflix. After months of speculation about the series being cancelled, we’ve finally found it. The series will return for a fifth last season thanks to an announcement by the show’s social accounts.
Here are the artists reacting to the announcement:
Candace Cameron Bure said, “Get ready, Fenrino! @Fullerhouse’s farewell season is coming your way. We love our fans! We saved the best for last”.
Andrea Barber tweeted with the caption: “Farewell season.” We saved the best for last. “
In an interview with Access Online, Jodie Sweeten talked about the final season, saying it’s easier to deal with than a full house finale season: “I think it’s a little easier this time. For the first time, this ‘Am I going to see [these people] again?’… Now, we are here for each other through thick and thin. This makes it a bit more relaxed than I know I won’t say goodbye to them. Working with them every day is simply [missing].
What will or can happen in season 5 of Fuller House?
Be careful – if you haven’t watched season 4 yet, it could be wrong, go back and watch!
Season four concludes with the birth of Stephanie’s surrogate child, with most of the cast now assembled in the hospital. We find the episode and season with a marriage proposal between Stephanie and Jimmy.
There is some incomplete news, but there is nothing that cannot be wrapped up in a special one-off episode. Ultimately, if the show had to be cancelled, Season 4 concluded relatively well.
It turns out that the end of season 4 was very different in one person. The Fuller House podcast speculated that it was changed because Season five was unlikely. Author Brian Behar took to Twitter to explain the situation.
The writing and directing team first returned with Brian Behar on April 11 and tweeted a photo of him on Warner Bros.
Rehearsals for season 5 began on June 30, 2019, with the first episode taped on June 1, 2019.
The final table read for season 5 came back on July 17, 2019, with Candace Cameron Bir to direct it in the last episode.
On July 27, John D. Beck confirmed on Twitter that the taping occurred for the seventh live audience.
