Abel Makkonen Tesfaye also known as The Weekend is a Canadian singer, an actor, a songwriter, and also a record producer. The 30-year-old singer has continued the promotion for his highly anticipated album named “After Hours”. Back on Feb 18th, the singer unleashed the title track off the album that got the fans speculating whether he is singing about his ex, Bella Hadid.

The song finds The Weekend, addressing a relationship that has ended in heartbreak and expressing how the Canadian singer desires a reconciliation. The lyrics went like this “Sorry that I broke your heart, I’ll treat you better than I did before.

He Has Made A Sign For His Ex Through His Lyrics

It has been clear from his lyrics that the singer desires to be back with his ex-girlfriend, Bella. The singer has also made a sign in the lyrics itself to start a family. He has the desire to start a family with his ex. “I wanna share babies/Protection, we won’t need.

Considering his recent break up from Bella Hadid, many were convinced that the album “After Hours” is about Victoria’s Secret model. One of the fans believed that the exes would get back together after listening to this song.

The Album Could Mean An Apology To His Ex

The album “After Hours” could mean that the 30-year-old singer wants to apologize to Bella Hadid. It is an apology letter to her. The Weekend has yet to respond to the speculation about it. “After Hours” is the third promotional song for The Weekend’s upcoming album, following “Heartless” and “Blinding Lights”.
