The 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven passengers around the helicopter of Bryant died in the wreck. The Lakers will confront the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday night at Staples Center and are planning to honor Bryant in several ways at the match. The group was originally scheduled to play Tuesday from the Los Angeles Clippers, but the match was postponed because of Bryant’s departure.
When lovers enter the stadium they’ll be greeted with Bryant’s name on the trunk with Lakers tops. Half the stadium will get tops with No. 24 on the top and the other half will get No. 8 tops.
