Fairy Tail will shortly be launching its very first console video game effort, and though fans are certainly excited to see how the huge franchise translates to a match, nobody is more enthusiastic than the creator of the show himself, Hiro Mashima.

Even though it’s been noted by Koei Tecmo’s manufacturers that Mashima has been engaged with the game’s creation process, Mashima has yet to comment on the production itself. But with the official release drawing closer to the game, Mashima has shared some thoughts.

Mashima took to Twitter to share his ideas on a recent preview of the game, “The [Fairy Tail] game bundle is in the process of being drawn, so please wait for the statement! Incidentally, when I tried to watch the live broadcast on Twitter the day, I had been humiliated of’Your participation will be exhibited’ and shut down it. I watched it at the archive but Wendy running was too adorable.”

It appears that they were nearly united by Mashima himself while fans were able to have a look at a recent trailer!

Mashima thinks the game is coming along nicely and noticed adorable Wendy was.

Fans were wondering whether or not the more fan-service elements of the franchise would find their way into the match, and while it may not be overt, it seems Wendy lovers will be pleased with her addition. At least based on the creator.

FAIRY TAIL is currently slated for a release on March 19th next season for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.

Fairy Tail was created by Hiro Mashima for Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine, running from 2006 to 2017 and selling over 60 million copies.

The series is set in a fantasy world filled with magical after Natsu Dragneel, a fire wizard with a dragon who’s looking for his missing foster father, the dragon Igneel’s powers.

As his wizarding guild Fairy Tail enters adventures, Natsu always tries to discover a way to succeed. The show was later adapted into an anime by A-1 Films, Dentsu Inc., and Satelight in 2009 and ended its initial run in 2013.

Another season ran from 2014 to 2016, and the anime was brought by the period to its official end.
