American teen drama Euphoria will be back for season 2. The official announcement for this HBO show came on July 16, 2019. The series depicts high school kids, sex, drugs and violence. Without a doubt, the show was an instant hit. The show stars Zendaya, Hunter Schafer and Jacob Elordi among other cast members.
Many compare the show to British TV series Skins. Both center around high schoolers that push social boundaries. The series features among most top rating HBO programs among the youth who find the show raw, gritty and real.
Loosely based on Israeli miniseries of the same name, this dark tale confronts many controversial topics.
Official confirmation has been given to second season which starts in March 2020. It will be released in US followed by United Kingdom in August. There is no official release date. Your guess is as good as ours at the moment. An official trailer is yet to be released. However a glimpse is present in HBO’S 2020 preview which is exciting. After the cliffhanger ending of season 1 unfurled fans need to know what happened to Rue. Season 2 might definitely get to that otherwise it would just be bizarre. There also might be narrative arcs – Nate’s sexuality, Cassie and McKay’s relationship, Gia’s growing rebelliousness and more. The possibilities are endless.
