Doom Patrol Season 2: The Untold truth of Dorothy Spinner.

Before the show Doom Patrol hit the DC Universe streaming service in the year 2019, the group was unknown. In a world which is full of heroes like Batman and Wonder Woman, there is not much room for Robotman and Crazy Jane. Nonetheless, the show allowed these misfits characters to some out their niche in their live-action superhero world. The risk paid off, and the Doom Patrol members are gaining fame.

After the massive success of the first season, Doom Patrol is revving up for their second. HBO Max now hosts DC’s crudest team of superheroes, who have saved the world on more than once occasion. In addition to the existing team members, the upcoming season of the show will also feature some new faces to spice some things up.

Now talking about Dorothy Spinner’s origins is that her origins in the comics are very depressing, to say the least. As written by Paul Kupperberg, she was put up for adoption by her own parents as a child, finding a home with a new family sometime later. As she got older, her facial structured into an ape, prompting her family to hide her from the outside world. She could not go to school or make any new friends and she was only left with her imagination.

Her downtime led her to come up with imaginary friends to keep herself occupied since her parents attested that her appearance would be frightening to the other kids. She soon discovered she did not need other people, because she could make her imaginary friends come to life with her only mind. They also helped her to learn to read and write since her access to education was nonexistent. So long she was alive and they were unaware of how they came to be, they were fully permanent.
