Lucifer, one of the most well-received shows of the decade left it’s fans with tears of joy when it announced its comeback with the fifth season. With this good news, it also brought the tragic news of the fifth season being the last one. This bittersweet season is highly anticipated by the fans. This anticipation leads the fans to start conspiracies and predictions of the season, the return of major character being on elf those predictions.
In Fox’s version of the fantasy thriller, the universe was created by both God and Goddess, the parents of the show’s titular fallen angel which is played by Tom Ellis. Goddess by Tricia Helfer was previously in season two. However, she could make a return in the new season’s epic finale to this show which is now taken over by Netflix.
When the series was on Fox, Lucifer fought against his powerful mother, Goddess. She had changed her appearance to Charlotte to step on the Earth and stir up chaos. However, as the story unfolds Lucifer, having developed a fondness for his new human companions, unlocking the mythical Flaming Sword to send his mother back. While Goddess is yet to make a comeback, there is no exception that the fans are expecting the celestial being to survive her fate and make an iconic return for the final season.
Tricia Helfer returned for season three, like Charlotte, Goddess’s mortal disguise in the story of this show. Furthermore, She was killed in the third season’s finale and neither Goddess or Charlotte have been sighted on screen. A fan took to Reddit and asked fellow fans to reflect on the fate of Charlotte or Goddess. They said that “Technically, Goddess may return. We know it took the Flaming Sword to open up the way to a new universe, and Lucifer tossed the sword into the void before it closed, so she has it.”
For now, Goddess currently has the Flaming Sword, which in the show means that she can tear open the fabric of space and gain passage to Earth. Unfortunately, the catch for her is that the Flaming Sword can only be ignited by the Lightbringer who is Lucifer himself. and can only work with extreme emotion. A Fan presented a potential solution for Goddess to get over this slight drawback. They said that “Yes, Lucifer was the only one who could use it, but when Goddess regains at full strength, she could theoretically change that requirement with the sword”. If this is possible Goddess can make a comeback to turn the pages of this series.
