The British sitcom ‘Derry Girls’ had scheduled the filming of its third season in the month of June of this year but it has to been added to the list of delays caused by the microscopic virus.
The Events Director of Channel 4 was seen talking in the Edinburgh TV festival back in August 2020 and said, “We will have to wait around for quite some time until it’s safe for the cast and crew members to begin recording.”
Overview Of The Show
Written and created by Lisa McGee, this British sitcom is produced by Hat Trick Productions. It has two seasons as of now and the filming of the third season was scheduled to begin in June but has been delayed due to the pandemic.
The first episode of the first season was released on 4th January 2018. As for the third season, we can expect some stories about James and Erin coming together or so we can hope.

As for the plot of the upcoming season, the ‘Derry Girls’ creator McGee revealed that the allies of the Derry Girls Club will go to another rival club with the leftover members who will try to get them afterward.
