Back in October 2019, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick said, “Marvel has promised to continue to allow us to play in the R-rated Deadpool world, and the expectation is that they will also let us veer in the MCU a tiny bit also and play in that sandbox.” And the actor playing Deadpool, Ryan Reynolds, has verified that the entire group is working on Deadpool 3.
Deadpool 3 Cast
While we know for certain that Reynolds will reprise his role as Deadpool, it’s uncertain whether he will drag any other characters from the old Fox universe along into the MCU (since Disney has united with Fox today ).
Having Brolin reprise the role of Cable would certainly make for a good running gag, if nothing else; it would also be cool to view the previous films’ version of Colossus (Stefan Kapičić), in the MCU, and of course Domino (Zazie Beetz), Weasel (T.J. Miller), along with Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand).
Even Wade’s love interest Vanessa (Morena Baccarin), whom he saved from her horrible fate in Deadpool 2’s mid-credits series, could return. But it’s all speculation because nothing has been confirmed.
What is exciting?
The simple fact that now X-men and Avengers are at precisely the world under the production house, it will be exciting to see what cooks up. The studio change will surely bring obstacles, but that the producers can’t manage. Since PG-13 films are produced largely by Disney, it was evident that there could be discrepancies. But, Renolds fulfilled Disney, and with Marvel, beneath its wing, they have finally given the green light.
Deadpool 3 Release date
The movie is at its point, and it is very early to say whether it’ll be released. However, analyzing the timing gap between Deadpool and Deadpool two, we can fairly assume it’ll sometime around the end of 2022 or the start of 2023.
