Dark Season 3: Its Time Travel one last time


Dark is a german sci-fi Netflix TV show, created by Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese.

The first season of Dark was released in December 2017.


It gained popularity overnight, and the viewers loved the twisted storyline.

The second season was aired in June 2019.

The Official release date has not been disclosed.

According to sources the season 3 of the show is set to premiere on 2020 winter release.

The shooting of season 3 was wrapped up around December 2019.

The Cast:

The show will retain the same cast.

Louis Hofmann as Jonas, Lisa Vicari as Martha, Jordis Triebel as Katharina, Mark Waschke as Noah, Andreas Pietschmann as adult Jonas, and Lea van Acken as the future girl.

The new characters will be acted by

Barbara Nurse, Jakob Diehl, Axel Werner

Hans Diehl, Nina Kronjager, and Sammy Scheuritzel.

The Storyline:

Season 2 of Dark left the viewers on a cliffhanger with several unresolved questions.

The final season will eventually tie the knot to all the loose ends.

The finale of season 2 showed Katharina enter the cave, and we will see where she went. 

The viewers will get to see multiple versions of each character, come together to fill the missing pieces.

Pictures uploaded by co-creator Baran Bo Odar shows the season will mostly focus on character Martha & Jonas.

Season 2 gave a huge revelation of Elisabeth Doppler and Charlotte Doppler, stating each being each other’s mother, leaving the audience shellshocked.

The show can be pretty much confusing but is one hell of a time-travel narrative.

Though, as we wait for the last season there’s more to come.!
