Critical Role Campaign Two: The Mighty Nein
Dungeons and Dragons web series, Critical Role started its second campaign on 11th January 2021 and ended on 3rd June 2021. It began four months after the conclusion of the first campaign. It aired every Thursday at 7 p.m. PT on Critical Role Production’s Twitch and YouTube Channel.
The second campaign of this series is called The Mighty Nein, it is a 141 episode journey which closes off with a 7 hour finale episode. The first campaign is called The Vox Campaign which initially started as an offline fun activity between friends. In 2015, Felicia Day, an actor, author and producer brought their game in front of the cameras.

Where Does Critical Role Campaign 2 Take Place?
Matthew Mercer created a fictional world called Exandria. The game takes place in this world, 20 years after Vox Machina’s final battle against Vecna in the first campaign. The second campaign of The Critical Role has a new set of adventures in the continent of Wildemount. It is located to the east side of Tal’ Dorei, the setting of the first campaign.

At What Level Of Critical Role Campaign 2 Does It Start?
The campaign 2 starts in Sydenstar 835 PD. The timeline for Vox Machina’s campaign is between 810 PD and 812 PD.
What Happens In Critical Role Campaign 2?
Wildemount is led by the Dwendalian Empire and King Bertrand Dwendal rules the empire. In Critical Role Campaign 2, seven adventurers meet in Trostenwald in the Dwendalian Empire. They are wrongly accused of a crime and decide to team up.
They get involved with a rebellion group in Zadash and get acquainted with The Gentlemen, a crime lord. They come across a raiding party in the region of Xhorbas and acquire a magical object called “Beacon of Luxon”.
The Mighty Nein try to avoid the fight, the war declared by the Empire and continue their journey towards the outskirts of the Empire. In their journey, Fjord, Jester and Yasha are captured by a group and in this process Mollymauk dies.
The second attempt to rescue them from the slavery group is a success. They steal a ship and flee as pirates. Here they meet Avantika, who is the pirate captain.
She decides to join the gang but the adventurers soon realize that Avantika plans to overrule the leader, the Plank King and gain control over the oceans of Exandria. She is then executed by the Plank King when the gang exposes her truth.
The Mighty Nein get to know that Felderwin is attacked by the Dynasty. They complete a task in Asarius and are joined with the Bright Queen in the capital.
During the meet, Caleb gives the Beacon and earns a favor from the queen. Essek Thelyss gives them a house in Rosohna.The Mighty Nein discover that Obann intends to awaken the champions of the Betrayer Gods. The gang successfully prevents Obann from releasing Tharizdun from prison, the God of uncontrolled madness.
King Dwendal meets up with The Mighty Nein, it gives them access to broker peace negotiations because they are connected in both nations. They are attacked by Uk’otoa and they meet Lady Vess DeRogna of the Cerberus Assembly. They go to Rumblecusp and the Jester’s God reveals himself to be the Artagan. The gang defeats Vokodo who is controlling the people of Rumblecusp.
Lady DeRogna hires The Mighty Nein to investigate the crashed floating city of Aeor. Mollymauk is resurrected and the gang again gets attacked by Uk’otoa and surprisingly an undead Avantika. Lady DeRogna is killed by Mollymauk who is now named Lucien.
The Mighty Nein ally with the Tombtakers, hoping to stop them but are betrayed. They face Tombtakers and finally kill Lucien and the sentient city of Cognouza and Exandria is free from the threat.
