The first season of the series proved to the viewers that it is far better than any other series. It smartly capitalized on nostalgia for The Karate Kid movies and wore clever callbacks throughout the season.

Cobra Kai Season 1 concluded with Miguel winning the All Valley Championship, but Johnny was in for a nasty surprise when his old sensei John Kreese once again re-entered his life.

Cobra Kai season 3 will be arriving in 2020. In addition, Youtube announced Cobra Kai season 3 will be free to watch including the ads. Season 1 and 2 will also be made available to watch with free ads. Now, that the renewal has happened, the fans can likely expect Cobra Kai season 3 to premiere in the spring of 2020.

The season 2 had begun shooting in September 2018 and had wrapped two months later; this production schedule has proven to be successful, so a new season of Cobra Kai each spring could become a tradition fans can now look forward to.
