The OnePlus 8 series is all set to make its way into the markets this April but by OnePlus co-founder and CEO, there’s been some revelation about the qualities ahead of the big launch.
Pete Lau in an interview confirmed the shortly to release OnePlus 8 series will include 5G support. The prices of the devices, though, will also increase but Lau verified that in any case, $ 1000 won’t touch.
In an interview with CNET, OnePlus co-founder Pete Lau talked about executing the 5G support.
“I want to restate our commitment to 5G and our long term investment. We’ve been residing in 5G for several years and we view this as one and the leadership going forward.
Lau talked about the hike in costs because of the enhanced technology.
He stated “We have always had a position in producing the best product possible at the ideal price point. The new technology does add prices so prices have risen compared to 4G products.”
For supplying technology at reasonable prices but with matters might not be the same with another series one plus have stood out. But, Lau assured that this year only the version will get a little expensive but the cost is around the $1000 mark.
“I believe that this year everyone should anticipate a lot to look forward to in 5G products using a fair price, he added.
Coming to the specifications, it is no secret that the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Guru are the premium flagships of the company while the OnePlus 8 lite will allegedly be a mid-ranger.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC will have a refresh rate of 120Hz and powers both OnePlus 8 Pro and the OnePlus 8 and attribute punch-hole displays. The OnePlus 8 Lite will feature a screen that is 90hz and will be pushed by a MediaTek chipset.
The display sizes of OnePlus8 and OnePlus 8 Pro will be around 6.5 to 6.8 inches. Whereas the OnePlus 8 Pro has been tipped to come with a setup the OnePlus 8 will include a triple-camera setup.
While the OnePlus 8 Guru will have a 4500 mAh battery with 10V 5A Super Warp rapid charging service the OnePlus 8 will house a 4000 mah.
