Granted it is not Halloween, but we just got a caliginostic January. Netflix just showed us its darker and mysterious side with Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina. We followed teen Sabrina’s adventures. The series has now been renewed for season3 and season 4. In season 2, we saw Sabrina deny her faith by Satan’s authority. Rather than becoming the herald of the apocalypse.
Sabrina won over Satan, but unfortunately, Nick, her boyfriend, got inside in Hell. Nick now possesses the soul of Satan but has a body of himself. However, at the very end of Part 2, Sabrina, with her best friends Theo, Roz, and Harvey, to make a mission to break into Hell to save her boyfriend, Nick.
Release Date and Cast
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, part 3 will premiere on January 24 on Netflix. There’s a teaser on YouTube show, Sabrina, in a red cloak in the misty scene. The release date was announced today at the Argentina Comic-Con at the Centro Costa Salguero in Buenos Aires.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina cast will be lead by Kiernan Shipka, Miranda Otto, Lucy Davis, Ross Lynch, Gavin Leatherwood, Chance Perdomo, Jaz Sinclair, Lachlan Watson, Michelle Gomez, Richard Coyle, Tati Gabrielle, Adeline Rudolph, Abigail Cowen, and Lachlan Watson.
In the ending scenes of season 2, we saw Sabrina asking Roz, Harvey, and Theo to come to Hell and rescue Nicolas. The probable central theme would be how Sabrina saves Nicolas and convinces or fights with Lilith and other supporting creatures of Hell. Hell won’t be as easy as before.
Meanwhile, the Church of Night has fallen. It is now known as the Church of Lilith. This shifts the balance over to one side. Moreover, on the other hand, Ambrose and Prudence also unite over their shared hatred for Blackwood’s misdeeds and vow to hunt down the warlock. Season three will primarily run on these three plots.
The synopsis form the producers: “Part Three finds Sabrina reeling from the harrowing events of Part Two. Though she defeated her father Lucifer, the Dark Lord remains trapped within the human prison of her beloved boyfriend, Nicholas Scratch. Sabrina can’t live with herself, knowing that Nick made the ultimate sacrifice and is suffering, burning in Hell under Madam Satan’s watchful eye. So with an assist from her mortal friends, “The Fright Club” (consisting of Harvey, Rosalind, and Theo), Sabrina makes it her mission to free him from eternal damnation and bring him back into her arms.
However, the Dark Lord’s unseating has sent shockwaves through the realms—and, with no one on the throne, Sabrina must assume the title of “Queen” to defend it against a challenger, the handsome Prince of Hell Caliban. Meanwhile, in Greendale, a mysterious carnival rolls into town, bringing with it a threat to the Spellmans and the coven: A tribe of pagans looking to resurrect an ancient evil…”
Riverdale showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, who now is the chief creative officer of Archie Comics, has scripted the series. Aguirre-Sacasa is also the executive producer of the series as well as collaborating with Riverdale’s Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Archie Comics CEO Jon Goldwater, and Lee Toland Krieger. Warner Bros Television-based Berlanti Productions have produced Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
