Capcom’s Resident Evil 3 will get a remake to link to the storyline of Resident Evil 4. In the recent Playstation blog the previous week, Kiyohiko Sakata, the director of Resident Evil 3 announced that some changes would be made in the game. He stated to match the storyline from part 3 to 4 there is a potential remake in Resident Evil 4.
The ability in Resident Evil 3 is to infect people and rapidly turn them into zombies. This was added as Capcon took inspiration from the new games in the series.
Kiyohiko Sakata explained:
We inevitably decided on this final ability due to the presence of Ganado in Resident Evil 4. Ganados are humanoid enemies that are created through being infected with the Plagas parasite, the original basis for NE-α. When the Plagas activates, it spawns from the neck of its host in the form of a tentacle. NE-α was created to imitate this parasitic quality. We wanted NE-α infected enemies to be visually similar to the Plagas-infected Ganados as a means for fans to piece together how Nemesis fits within the whole Resident Evil franchise.
It is hard to believe that Capcom is remaking a full game just to link the two stories together. The answer to this might be that this could be a good way to end the franchise. To create a logical chain can be there motive to farewell the series with a good end.
The remade Resident Evil 4 officially stated to be released ay 2022 and the development has already started. For more exciting news and amazing leaks stay connected and stay tuned
