The Netflix anthology show is always the viewer’s top choice to go for.
Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones have created shows which are still considered the best shows under Netflix production.
While not formally affirmed, we expect a 6th Black Mirror season.
In January 2020, it was reported that Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones quit the Endemol Shine Group behind the show.
Reports notice that they still think about a normal production contract with Netflix.
This notes if a 6th season were to occur, talks would need to happen with the Endemol Shine Group on the option to broadcast.
As indicated by the news, Endemol itself is facing a considerable number of challenges.
This infers things are currently uncertain all around about Black Mirror’s future for now. Hopefully, we can expect more titles from the producers later on.
Potential Release Date:
On the odd chance that the series is resumed, there will probably be a little hold up before season 6.
The Bandersnatch production cycle postponed the beginning of the fifth season by around a half year, so we can’t expect any news before the second half of 2020.
Expected Plot Details:
Black Mirror is renowned for providing mind-numbing contents like Africanized honey bee robots, the dark side of augmented reality, how will our future look like, etc.. etc..
It always delivers some new perspectives with a pinch of the dark side which undoubtedly puts us, viewers, in an existential crisis for days on end.
It will be interesting to see if they will pick up some prevailing technologies or ideas now and portray them.
Even though it is hard to see exactly what the new episodes will showcase.
The focal point of the action may or may not be similar to previous seasons.
