‘Billions’ Season 5 Preview, Review, Plot, Cast, and Storyline you must know about

Billions Season 5

‘Billions’ Season 5 Episode 1 has been renewed on Showtime. ‘Billions’ lovers will understand when we say the reason it is hard to dislike a character like Bobby Axelrod (Damian Lewis). Brash, meticulous, ruthless, arrogant, genius and well, he’s just rich.

It’s reasonable to say a significant chunk of this pilot episode billions’ in 2016 would be to showcase the man Bobby f*****gram Axelrod was. For those who recall Wendy Rhoades’ (Maggie Siff) description of Axe to Chuck Rhoades (Paul Giamatti)–‘The guy’s an enigma. And nobody could think like him’.

And of course, the fact that in Lara Axelrod (Malin Åkerman), the wife of this devious billionaire, there was a self-taught, both ruthless, stylish and aggressive woman who had been a perfect foil. The tough but the sexy lady from Inwood oozed badassery since her debut and mirrored Axe in several ways.

The Preview of Billions Season 5 Episode 1

A traditional example of her method of getting stuff done is when June Raichlein (Melissa Errico), the widow of Rake Raichlen, among Axe’s partners in the hedge fund he worked at before Axe Capital, writes a novel and one of the chapters is on Axe that could place him in a bad light and legal problem.

Lara’s mission sees her ruin the planet — tee time at a place, a cancelled enrollment from her Barre course and her son’s college entry to Stanford of June declined. She strips June of her sanity with some genius although wicked moves.

That said, Lara was not a yes-woman to Axe. Their war room talks are just another evidence of how they strategized to attract down competition. What she had been, although she was not the super-ego of Axe a level-headed woman with just as much stake in Axe Capital. It was a defining moment for Axe when he is captured in a crime that is equal to cheating– Lying. He lies. It might have resulted in the power couple calling it quits, but there’s still that ruthlessness left from the woman.
