Better Call Saul Characters Fate Who Were not in Breaking Bad

Better Call Saul is an American television crime drama series created by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould. It is a spin-off prequel of Gilligan’s prior series Breaking Bad.

Set in the early 2000s, Better Call Saul follows the story of con-man turned small-time lawyer, Jimmy McGill portrayed by Bob Odenkirk, beginning six years before the events of Breaking Bad, showing his transformation into the persona of criminal-for-hire Saul Goodman.

Jimmy becomes the lawyer for former beat cop Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks), whose relevant skill set allows him to enter the criminal underworld of drug trafficking in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

However, With the end of Better Call Saul coming near, The question of the fate of characters who did not appear in the prequel is in line.

The new season of Better Call Saul will begin airing Sunday, February 23rd with back-to-back episodes hence trying to reintroduce the fans of the prequel to the world of the supposedly cleaner version of Saul Goodman.

Season 4’s finale shows Jimmy officially begins to practicing law under the famous false moniker.

However, the show is getting closer and closer to catching up with the timeline of its cult-classic prequel as Saul moves away in the second season of Breaking bad.

If one can observe, Better Call Saul has not caught up with Breaking Bad timeline as there are still two whole seasons for the incidents like the power to shift, alliances and loyalties to be formed (or broken), and characters to come in and out of Saul Goodman’s life in the prequel.

As Better Call Saul nears its end, fans will keep a closer eye on some main characters than others. As fans of Breaking Bad already know, a few of Better Call Saul’s major characters are nowhere to be found when the story of Walter White begins, which would seem to point to a sinister end.

This raises a lot of questions related to the Hit series and the spinoff. Some of the characters are:

Howard Hamlin

  1. Howard Hamlin: Howard was a very close friend of Jimmy’s older brother Chuck, who was Hamlin’s law firm partner.

Chuck and Jimmy had an incredibly strained relationship and was revealed that part of the reason Jimmy struggled to move up in the ranks and was treated poorly by Howard was because of Chuck. The audience does not see this character on screen at all.

Lalo Salamanca

2. Lalo Salamanca: Although he’s only been featured in two episodes of Better Call Saul so far, Lalo Salamanca has already made a big impact on the show — and his legacy extends far beyond that of BCS.

Apart from these characters, the others are Nacho Vargha and Kim Wexler. Fans can only hope that they get answers to their questions and the season explains these characters in detail.
