Ben Stiller has laughed off rumors that he is going to look in Fast & Furious 9.
On Monday (March 2), Page Six reported the Zoolander actor was the latest in a long lineup of stars to join with the Fast & Furious franchise, also that he had a role in the coming ninth movie which he would be shooting soon.
Regrettably, Stiller quickly denied the narrative on Twitter, dubbing it”greatly exaggerated” and”not in any way accurate” — while also jokingly playing the franchise’s success.
“Tales of my Fast and Furious-ness are greatly exaggerated,” the Night in the Museum star wrote.
“Meaning not at all accurate, sadly. Although I wish them. Fingers crossed off it.”
His remarks follow Fast & Furious celebrity Vin Diesel previously showing another legendary actor he would like to see look at the franchise.
Enter… Dame Judi Dench!
“I believe she’d be amazing,” Vin clarified in an interview — and it’s difficult to disagree.
Elsewhere, Fast & Furious celebrity Michelle Rodriguez has advised fans to expect physics-defying stunts in the ninth movie.
“Let us just say you are gonna question a lot in this movie when it comes to physics,” she said.
“You’re just going to be like, [miming’wait, what?’]. Let’s just say there is a lot of this in this one.”
