Avatar sequels release date

The release dates for its Avatar sequels have been pushed back. Avatar two is now slated for December 17, 2021. But don’t hold your breath.

Cameron is also unfazed by the big gap between the original Avatar and the first sequel — reminding CNN that there was a seven-year rest between both Alien and Aliens, also involving Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgement Day.

“It is gonna be more like a 10-year gap between Avatar and Avatar two. However, [with] Avatar Two you Are not with all the guarantee, the certainty, of more movies beyond that, and that’s a different concept with the audience.”

If everything stays on track, Avatar 3 will be out December 22, 2023, Avatar 4 on December 19, 2025, and Avatar 5 on December 17, 2027. After that… who knows what the future holds for Pandora.
