Authorities said the body found in a Texas apartment belonged to a boy who was violently murdered in November.

Remains of three abandoned children and a fourth, possibly his brother and sister, were found Sunday in an apartment west of downtown Houston, authorities said.

The Harris County Sheriff said in a statement that a 15-year-old boy called him and said that his 9-year-old brother’s body was in the next room.

The sheriff’s statement says that the boy has been dead for a year, and his parents have not lived in the apartment for “months.”

When lawmakers arrived, they found “the remains of a young child, about 15 years old,” and two other boys under the age of 10, in the house, the sheriff’s office said.

Gonzalez said his eldest son contacted the authorities and took him to the scene. This 15-year-old boy finally called for help, “Gonzalez said.” I am glad that he was helped from one phone to another with the necessary care and protection, “said the mother and boyfriend of the deceased son.

On Tuesday, the sheriff’s office announced Tuesday that the death of a child was murder, as was the death of a child.

Gonzalez said Wednesday that the case is still under investigation and additional charges could be brought.

According to the Harris County Forensic Research Institute, the child died in a variety of indiscriminate murders. A spokeswoman for the office said on Tuesday afternoon that medical personnel were unable to accurately identify the body.

Officials said Wednesday that Williams and Coulter, who have been a couple for over a year, have moved out of their apartment and are living with their children, at least two of whom have been classified as autistic and described as “special needs.”
